I’d like to ask for your help if I may.
Books need readers, for said books to have a ripple effect out into the world.
That ripple effect comes from people making changes to the way they act as a result of what they have read.
And the more people who read a book and make those changes, the more ripple effects there will be.
If you have read any one of my books, I would love your help in getting the word out so that they can have an even greater ripple effect.
In particular, I am focused on the ripple effect of Cultivating Coachability right now. But you may also have read The Transformational Coach and/or Mentor Coaching: A Practical Guide and this request spreads across both of those books too.
If you have read any one of them, could you please write a review on Amazon (or just click on a star rating if that’s all the time that you have). Ratings and comments are good for the algorithms and push the book out to more people. If you are not an Amazon-lover, then perhaps you might do the same on your bookshop website of choice. Or of course, Linked In is a great place for spreading the word too.
Here’s how to write a book review, in case this helps you:
- Go to the Cultivating Coachability page. Or your LinkedIn page if you prefer to write something there.
- Select Write a product review in the Customer Reviews section towards the bottom of the page.
- Select a star rating. A green tick will be displayed for successfully submitted ratings.
- Optionally, add text, photos or videos and select Submit.
- And what to write? I don’t want to influence you, but I can provide some pointers:
- There is no minimum or maximum amount of words, but don’t feel it needs to be long.
- Be sincere and truthful, answering questions such as:
- What value did you derive from the book?
- Did it live up to its description?
- Would you recommend it to other coaches?
- How was the writing style – easy to follow?
I hope that’s not too onerous, though I do realise that I am intruding on your time. So please know that I am extremely grateful that you are willing to spread the word.
